Specialising in narrative documentary, Tom studied Photography in Bath - achieving a First Class BA with honours. Remaining immersed in all things Photography, he has worked in a fast paced independent analogue film lab to continue honing his skills since graduating

My idea of a perfect wedding photographer is someone who already feels like a fond friend. 

familiar with traditional photographic practice, I am a highly skilled analogue photographer, with a deep understanding of 35mm and medium format film - which informs my digital photography.

if i had to pick one camera to use until the end of time, it would be my mamiya rb67 - which would outlive me!

I'm Tom, a Bath based photographer, working across the UK.

Sometimes cliches are just true. I can't remember a time where photography wasn't my life's most all-consuming obsession. My journey began with a humble iPod, until I inherited my Grandfather's Nikon 35mm film camera - this one gesture determining the literal viewfinder through which I continue to see the world.

A few short years and numerous rolls of film later, I was studying photography at university - cutting my teeth in Fine Art Documentary Practice. I remained committed to analogue film, hand developing and printing much of my 1st Class BA HONS in the darkroom.

Film sharpened my technical knowledge of Photography and understanding of light - demanding the upmost care and consideration. My considered approach, informed by film, continues to dictate how I work digitally - honouring the craft's tradition.

My human, narrative led approach to Documentary Photography has always informed my approach to Weddings - story led, people centric, with a keen observation of detail.
